I never imagined I would be exploring a world that contains the word
‘ministry’ ~ To minister is to ‘attend to the needs’. I am comfortable with
that and it seems quite fitting.
I have the distinct privilege of working with people to create meaningful
ceremony, adding ritual and all the tender and soft thoughts to that
ceremony that will never pass this way again.
I have always known that stories that last a lifetime can be created,
joy can appear with the lightest whisper, comfort can be offered with
a simple touch or kind word, long overdue forgiveness can be bestowed
with a small gesture… when you see all of these moments unfold, there
is a knowing that anything is possible.
I am the very luck and blessed Mom to 2 adult children
that I adore ~ they are my light.
As an Ordained Minister in the Metaphysical Ministry, I am a
licensed Wedding Officiant in BC, also a Funeral Celebrant, End of
Life Doula & Educator and Usui Reiki Practitioner.
Happy to be the calm in the storm for our beautiful rescue dog Maddie,
who is definitely living her best life on the trails each day and 2 forest
kittens that Maddie tolerates… and am filled with gratitude for my
beautiful family and friendships…
I love to read the precariously stacked books on a multitude of subjects
around my home, send postcards whenever I go away, write, kayak,
whenever I can, walks in the forest and along the ocean shores collecting
rocks, and love crystals. I have to admit that I make a pretty darn good butter
butter tarts…and…who doesn’t sing in the car?
