About Me
I smile with this definition of Spirituality.
Whispering to the trees
Laughing with flowers
Falling in love with sunsets
Consulting the water &
Worshiping the trees
One hand to my heart
One hand to the earth
And sparkles....tons of them!
I never imagined I would be exploring a world that contains the word ‘ministry’ ~ To minister is to ‘attend to the needs’. I am comfortable with that and it seems quite fitting.
I have the distinct privilege of working with people to create meaningful ceremony, adding ritual and all the tender and soft thoughts to that ceremony that will never pass this way again.
I have always known that stories that last a lifetime can be created,
joy can appear with the lightest whisper, comfort can be offered with
a simple touch or kind word, long overdue forgiveness can be bestowed
with a small gesture....when you see all of these moments unfold, there
is a knowing that anything is possible.
I am the very lucky and blessed Mom to 2 adult children
that I adore ~ they are my light.
Having recently moved to the lush & vibrant Comox Valley from beautiful Ontario, I am enjoying my new found friends and moments each day, that take my breath away.
As an Ordained Minister in the Metaphysical Ministry, I am a licensed Wedding Officiant in BC,, also a Funeral Celebrant, End of Life Doula & Educator, Usui Reiki Practitioner, and an Ayurvedic Indian Head Massage Facilitator.
Happy to be the calm in the storm for our beautiful rescue dog Maddie, who is definitely living her best life on the trails each day; and am filled with gratitude for my beautiful friendships...some seasoned and some more recent, since landing on the Island.
All are brimming with love, support, a kind word and often a well deserved road trip!
I love to read the precariously stacked books on a multitude of subjects around my home, send postcards whenever I go away, write, kayak whenever I can, walks in the forest and along the ocean shores collecting rocks, and love crystals. I have to admit that I make pretty darn good butter tarts...and....who doesn't sing in the car?
